Yantai Vocational College has been advancing the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years by exporting top-tier educational resources overseas, nurturing international talent, and bolstering China's vocational education on the global stage.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia. The Yantai Vocational College hosted a delegation of 22 Malaysian teachers for a 3-month training program in new energy vehicle technology.

To enrich their learning experience, the college provided these educators with a team of expert instructors and courses that integrated theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

“After studying in this beautiful coastal city for more than a month, I have acquired many practical skills in automotive repair. The teaching and training resources at Yantai Vocational College are outstanding,” said one of the Malaysian teachers, who expressed eagerness to share his new knowledge with his students in Malaysia.

Goldwin, a Nigerian international teacher, echoed similar sentiments after undergoing a 3-month welding training program at the college starting in April. The program crafted real-world scenarios for him and another Nigerian teacher in order to improve their practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

In recent years, Yantai Vocational College has established partnerships with vocational colleges in countries like South Korea, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Thailand, focusing not only on technology but also on fostering exchanges in language and culture.

Looking ahead, Yantai Vocational College will continue to elevate its internationalization efforts and enhance its global influence to provide high-quality development of global vocational education.
